Name | TIKANTI |
Location | Lindisfarne TAS |
TIKANTI is a well known local boat launched in 1956 as a commercial fishing vessel, and converted in 1983 by Geoff Cuthbertson, a noted Hobart boat builder to its current motorsailer style with tiller and wheel controls, a basic masthead rig and later model Volvo 27hp inboard diesel. Sound and dry, there is some timber work to be done around the cockpit combing and decks - nothing too difficult but work that needs doing sooner rather than later either by a shipwright or handyman. This is an ideal vessel for a couple who wish to cruise our local waters in a great weekender fitted with an enclosed toilet, sink and stove, refrigerator, electric anchor winch and reliable diesel with low hours as well as an autopilot, VHF radio, GPS and sounder. Headroom in the saloon, would also suit living aboard. Inspections at the Motor Yacht Club of Tasmania by appointment please by contacting Steve Taylor on 0400 934 974 |
